It depends on your bank. Mine was showing up as a "pending transaction" on May 6th, and within 24 hours, it had been credited to my account.
Of course, I've had this particular bank account for 18 years, so maybe I'm "special". :P |

The direct deposits that went out on Friday the 2nd, in most cases that I'm aware of, were available for withdrawal on Monday and Tuesday. Hopefully this is the case from here on out. Although, the IRS says to allow 2 weeks from the scheduled date of deposit to have access. Everyone that I know who received their rebate last week also received a statement confirming the amount of the deposit beforehand.... |

Yes, they'd be sent during the night. But when they show in your account depends on when your bank processes them. Most banks would process them overnight, so they'd show in the morning. |

Not likely. Thursdays are the normal night for ordinary tax refund transmittals. According to the IRS, rebate transmittals are on Mon-Wed and Fri. That said, the IRS has been pushing hard to get the rebates out so anything is possible at this point. |

I know someone who got their check direct deposited on april 28th and it took a week to clear. If you go to www.irs.gov and you will see the schedule there. |
