I am not on benefits , but don't forget that a lot of people receiving them are pensioners who have paid tax and insurance for 40/50 years. They are entitled. Also there are people out of work who cannot get a job. Then there are the immigrants , illegal and otherwise who have never paid a penny ,but take all they can get. I know of several war veterans that fought for this country and are struggling to keep warm and fed. I also know of immigrants that come here and the government gives them housing , a car and benefits for all the hangers on . You can't lump all benefit claimants together. |

Money isn't wasted on students, they have to pay it all back, either that or their parents pay. Maybe we could give them grants if we didn't pay so much on the bums that do nothing and won't help themselves |
