Since you do not know how to do your own taxes, find a good tax service, such as H & R Block, to do your taxes for you. You are asking people on the internet for tax advice, and a little knowledge can be dangerous. The IRS is not an entity you want to mess with!!! Get professional help.
May God bless you. |

You can get an estimate by taking your salary (minus 2 standard deductions), adjusting it for obvious other income/ deductible expenses, and then goinng on the IRS website and check the tax for that salary. Thats about how much will be taken out over a year for federal taxes. You can do a similiar calculation for state taxes and then just look up the other taxes (social security and medicare - I dont know what these % amounts are off hand). |

I figure it out by using a old check stub and figureing out the % they take out for each thing. The % you get should stay the same every week unless you make so much more that your tax bracket goes up.
example.... My gross 719.46 they took 62.05 out for fed so find what % of 719.46 is 62.05
answer is around 8.6% this will stay same on every check. Just do this for all state, fed and fica. subtract from gross and u will have your check amount. |

social security is 6.2% of your paycheck, medicare is 1.45%. I don't know your state, so can't tell you that, and don't know your income level so can't tell you federal withholding. I have attached a link to a paycheck calculator site that can give you what you want. |
