How can I turn someone in to the IRS for not taking taxes out on an employee?
My best friend is working in a sawmill and they are not taking taxes out on her and I think it is bullS**t. How can I turn them in for this???

I am curious how you could take taxes out of an employee. Body parts yes, but not taxes.

Your best friend should provide a statement of the number of workers in the sawmill that are being treated this way and an estimate of the wages paid to all of them. Also provide a statement of the duties of the workers, The bigger the underpayment, the more interesting it will be to IRS or state auditors.

As long as the business is paying its OWN taxes, it may not be illegal to NOT take taxes out of an employee's pay.

You should find out before "turning anyone in" to the IRS. It may be considered harrassment on your part to turn someone in when they aren't doing anything illegal. It is not necessarily the employer's responsibility to pay an employee's taxes. Some businesses are exempted.

Better find out for certain before you do something that will get you into trouble. Call the IRS and ask a hypothetical question. They'll answer it and you won't risk anything.

Turn them in??? why is that BS? you should be pissed off that your employer is taking taxes out of your paycheck!

There is NO LAW that gives the IRS or the Federal Reserve the RIGHT to take taxes out of a persons wages/labor.
It is even in the Constitution that no-one can tax people on thier earning from labor.
YES IT IS TRUE....though you may think not because, for your whole life, we have been taxed on our income. Taxes are supposed to be paid only when there is a profit or capital gain....NOT WAGES!!!
I repreat....if you work and get a paycheck, you should have NO WITHHOLDING.....disability and all that other stuff is a whole different issue.
If you do not believe me on this....do your homework and you will find that it IS true.
The Federal Reserve is not a government institution, it is owned by private bankers.

You will see an ex IRS agent that spent hours and days looking for the law that says workers can be taxed....and when he did not find one he quit working for the IRS.

Well, first off, does your friend need the job, or not?

Are there a bunch of jobs around, or not?

Why would you do this, did your friend ask you to?

You can call the State Department of Labor, or the IRS, or the Federal Department of Labor, but here is what will happen, if anything:

Your friend will not have a job.
The company could shut down and no one would have a job.
The IRS & State will fine & penalize the saw mill thus forcing another American company to go under.

Again, ask your friend if this is what she wants.

Nothing in life is fair and no one ever said it was. If they did tell you life was fair, they were either really lucky, or lying.

Sorry.
