The program is asking for your adjusted gross income, if you do not have last years (2005) return, call the Internal Revenue Service at 1-800-829-1040 Mon thru Fri 7am to 10pm. After verifying your identity by asking a few questions they can provide that figure for you |

You should keep records in future. |

You will have to contact employers you worked for in 2005, and ask for W-2 forms which shows Gross income,Federal, State, and Local tax withheld from your pay. GOOD LUCK !!! |

Look at your copy of your 2005 return! If you don't have it available you'll have to get a copy from the IRS. There's a $39.00 fee for that and it can take several weeks to get the copy.
If you had your taxes professionally prepared for 2005, the preparer will have a copy. It may well be quicker to get a copy from them. |

You need to wait for your W2 to come in from your employer(s). You never should file without an actual W2, for your protection NEVER use a final paystub. |
