We can't lower them. Administrators and teachers keep wanting pay raises, it costs more for fuel each year, everything costs more each year. We would be lucky just to hold even, it is going to keep increasing.

Hire less competent teachers. Make class room smaller. That saves on electricity. Don't modernize equipment. Do away with school buses. Make the kids cut the grass and fix things. All sorts of good ideas. I bet you don't mind paying that 50% tax on booze or 30% tax on gasoline.
I guess you came from a very poor school district, because this is the most stupid question I have seen in a long time.
