Write to the Inland Revenue, obtain the correct form, fill it in and return it to them, possibly with a P60 or other relevant documents.

If you have paid tax previously, then you should ring, or go to your local tax office and tell them you wish to claim tax back. take any proof of tax paid with you they should help you to sort it out

If you live in Britain you need to write to the HMR&C (revenue and customs). Include in the letter a copy of your P60. You should receive this from your employee after the tax year in April and the dates you have worked in the year. You should be able to find your tax office by looking on your P60 form then looking up the office on the internet. It is often useful to give them a ring before you send the letter as they may be able to give you a more direct address. I work as an accountant and have done this before!

Contact your nearest Tax office,
But don't forget Your tax helps keep the Government, unemployed immigrants all to the standard they have become used to, as a worker you've got no chance of a rebate. and don't forget every penny you have left in your wage also gets taxed when you spend it

The easiest way, if you do not already prepare a tax return, is to complete a form R40 which enables you to submit your income details for the year. Once complete, send the form to your local tax office, which will be the same as your employers tax office (you can usually find this on your payslip).

Once recevied HM Revenue & Customs will then process the form and send you a refund if you are entitled to it.

Fill in our tax return and send it in, They should refund you an overpaid tax
