Just add the figures from both W2's when completing your return.

MarineMom
It's pretty simple. You combine the amount of wages on both W2's to get your gross income. Lots of people have more than one employer during the year, and if you do, each one will be sending the IRS a W2 so make sure you add the wages from both W2's and you'll be just fine!

shotgun
Not a problem. Happens all the time. Just add up the amounts of both W-2's, and report the total. Include copies of both W-2's if you mail it in.

bostonianinmo
Just add up the numbers on all W2s and plug them in to the appropriate lines on your return. Nothing at all unusual about that, millions of taxpayers do it every year. The most I ever filed was 7, that was a chaotic year.

Steve
Add the numbers from each W-2 together.

use online free Efile for federal tax return at

No big deal. It just looks complicated. Add the wages in box 1 (I think it is) on both W-2's and enter on the appropriate line of the return. Add the withholding amounts on both W-2's (I think that's box 4) and enter them. Everything else will be as usual, or... it should be.

Just be sure and send the Federal copies of the W-2's with your return, if you mail it in.

You will list both W-2's (or 1099's) on your return. State tax may get more complicated if the two employers where in different states.

Simple, you will still be filing as one person. total the wages for both and add that figure to your form and so on and so forth.

inmemofpa
U can file both jobs together.

bcn
I actually have a problem with this. I filed my 1st W2 separately, and now I need to file my 2nd. I didn't know you had to file them together. I got my refund for the 1st, but what do i do about the 2nd? Am I going to have to pay back the refund I already got? IRS is closed on weekends....need help now!
