How do I find out the amount of my tax stimulus?
I've been looking all over online but I just keep finding a form that people have been stating is incorrect. I filed my 2007 tax return with 1040A. How do I figure out how much I'll be getting?
Additional Details
EDIT:

I know about the $600 or $1200 amounts. But those are "up to" amounts. I'm single, therefore the amount I'm getting will be between $300 and $600.

You would be eligible to receive a rebate of up to $600 if you paid that much in Federal Income Tax. If you only paid $350 in taxes (less than the $600 rebate limit), you only get back $350. If you had earned income of at least $3000, you would get at least the minimum rebate of $300.

Use the Kiplinger rebate tax calculator (link below) to compute your rebate.

if your tax liability was at least $600, you'll get $600. If it was between 300-600, that's how much you'll get
$300 rebate if tax liability was below $300 and you make a certain amount of income

Here's an IRS Rebate Calculator and they walk you through the steps so you can find out how much you should expect:

don't know that you can.
it's probably a minimum of $300.00 and possible up to $600.00. i don't know that it's been printed anywhere as to exactly who's going to get exactly what.
we'll all just have to wait and see.
they said they'll START sending out those checks in May.
mar take up to (i think they said) 6 weeks to complete the cycle.
good luck to ya, and keep your fingers crossed.

Since you filed your 2007 taxes - atleast you got the first condition out of the way for getting the tax rebate.

The rebate will be between $300 to $600 for single filers.
+ $300 for each qualifying child.

If you are a dependent of someone else, they get $300 for you, unless you are over 17.
