How do you know she is getting at least $3,000 a month? And, if it is welfare, she does not have to file a tax return. She is totally legit and the IRS will do nothing. Also, there are many agencies that will assist your ex-wife in paying for mortgages, lights, clothing, lawyers, transportation, etc. Is the Benz a new car or old? Also, a family member might be supporting her. If the family member is doing this, her family member could be in trouble for not filing Gift tax returns. Any cumulative gifts for the year from one person over $11,000 is subject to gift tax return filing. That is not her responsibility and she will not get in trouble for this. You will have to prove it to the IRS and will need to know which family member is helping her.
If you want your child back, you will need to get a job. Otherwise, there is nothing you can do. In terms of legal support, there is usually legal aids. They are inexpensive and sometimes you can get a good lawyer to assist you. United Way is the sponsor of this service. |

If the money isn't documented, there is nothing that the IRS will do. There's nothing you can do to send her to jail, you just need to get over it and move on. If you fear for the children's safety, you might just have something there, but until you can prove that, you're SOL. |

Do you love pain?
Do you want a cooperative ex to arrange any potential visitations with your kid?
Damn, it's been 2 years dude, and you're still plotting to do her in! Get a life! Let it go! She might have "broken" you, but you are making choices that will keep you "broken" forever. You don't "need" to "send her to jail now", you just want to do things that will make more pain for you, your ex, and YOUR KID. Remember your kid? The one that would have a MOTHER IN JAIL in addition to a dad who is an unemployed, bitter, "broken" man for a dad?
The unemployment rate is 4-5% in this country, and you tell me that you can't even find a crappy job? I don't buy it. |

Chances are, her income is legitimate. If you know she's getting $3,000 a month but you don't know where it's from, that doesn't mean it's illegal. You can easily make $50,000 a year on tax-free benefits. How do you "know" she's not filing a tax return? How do you "know" it's illegal? If you don't know, you can't assume it's illegal; for your son's sake you must assume she has come by the income honestly.
You need to think about what's best for your child. Your child will be deeply hurt if you put his mother in jail or "break" her in any way.
Be the best Dad you can be from afar. Never speak ill of his mother nor say a mean word to her when your son is within listening distance. For this short period of his life, his mother is a saint to him. If you tear that from him, he may never forgive you. If on the other hand you support her and respect her (especially in his presence), then when he is grown he will in all likelihood remember how hard you tried to be a part of his life and will bless you with his love and devotion. |

I agree with jet. Vengeance belongs to God.
You can't find work? In the United States? I find that very difficult to believe. |

The IRS hears from alot of angry ex-spouses. Your info went straight into the garbage can. They assume angry people are liars.
The way to do it is to be anonomous. Then they can't automatically dismiss it.
But, like everyone else said, the revenge thing will not do anything positive for you. It just keeps the poison stirring up inside you. Maybe you could put this energy into looking for a job and then later you may not feel like you have to worry over her.
Look after yourself and your son, that's what's really important. |

These answers all sound so nice and one sided. Humm has anyone been in this situation. On irs forms your unemployment is reported as income, the child support can't be claimed and yes dhs does hold out child support from work mans comp. The person that receive child support does not have to report it as it is not considered as income (If it isn't income then what is it.) The child is evidently 6yrs. or older, is he being brainwashed does he miss his dad. Why can' dad see him, see indeed. Some say pay up, forget, move on. Is this love for your own child. Get a job, duh the economy stupid. minimum wage even at full time sure is great, after taxes, child support, food clothing, shelter (The basics) whats left. The man is begging for help not so much as revenge, and yes a divorce can be devastating to a man, He wants to see his son, |
