How do you cash a paycheck??
its my first pay check and i need some help. thanks.

take the check to your bank and ask them to deposit it into your bank account

usually takes a day or two to clear, but after the first.. 3 I think it gets faster

or you can ask your boss to deposit the money straight into your bank account

take it to a bank / open an account. you will sign your name on the back of the check and deposit your account. you can take money out . use a debit card or write a check against it. you can also take the check to the bank that it is from (your employer uses) name of bank should be on check . take it in person and ask to cash it . sign it over to them on the back and they will give you the money for it.

If you don't have a bank account, you can take it to the bank it was drawn from (whatever bank the company uses) and cash it there.

You also could sign it over to a friend/relative who has a bank account and they can cash it for you at their bank (assuming they aren't overdrawn or anything)

Sometimes, there is a small fee to cash your paycheck if you don't have an account at that bank (like $5)

Best of luck!

Easiest may be to take it to the bank it was drawn off of, the check will have a bank logo. Some stores will cash them too. Be sure to take proper ID. Good Luck.

you need a savings or checking account with a bank, otherwise some banks can cash your check for a fee, but if your working a steady job you minus well open an account. some grocery stores will cash smaller paychecks too..

I would HIGHLY recommend going to a bank, opening a savings account, cash the check and deposit a small amount. Then you can always go to that bank to cash your paychecks for free. The check cashing places charge way too much for the privilege.
