I use Turbo Tax. It is very easy. It asked you all the same questions as they do at the expensive tax places.
I was scared to do them myself so I tryed it and then had my tax guy look at it and he said everything was great with it. So I totally trust Turbo Tax

Turbotax makes things very easy. That's what I use.

I prefer the assurance of having a private accountant do my taxes. That way, if there is an issue, I have someone to fall back on.

You don't do taxes until after January 1st. Usually later than that because places don't have to get their information to you until January 31st.

If you don't have lots of investments or involved money then you should be able to use the short forms.

You can pick them up at the library and most post offices. You can even download from the internet. The instruction books are really helpful too. Go line by line and fill them out as instructed.

As for applying for financial aid, you may have to use 2006 tax papers for parents to apply. Ask at your financial aid office.

download the forms from the IRS and file them. Chances are you don't owe anything and my even get some back.

lizgas
well you would use your parents taxes from 2006 and you wouldnt report your income yet because you havent done your taxes, you can report them but you would have to show your last pay stub and that has how much you have make ytd. good luck
