How long after the deadline did you receive your stimulus check?
My check is being mailed no later than July 4th (a holiday) so when can I expect my check in the mail? The letter says it should be here a few days after, but since it's a holiday I'm not sure if it's affected. Also, it says if it doesn't reach you in 6 weeks, contact the IRS. I don't want to anxiously wait 6 weeks!
My check was due to be mailed no later than June 20. I received it on June 21. Since yours is supposed to be mailed on July 4th(yes a holiday) it probably won't get mailed until July 7th-Monday. You would then receive it by the 8th or 9th. That's the worst case. The best case is that because a holiday is coming, the things due to be mailed on the 4th could be made ready for mailing on the 3rd, and you could get your check delivered on th 5th. I work for the postal service and they will be delivering mail on the 5th. The only day there won't be mail delivery is the 4th. However, mail is processed daily. So, if the checks are put into the mail system on the 3rd, they will get processed on the evening of the 3rd and/or the day of the 4th. Ready for delivery on the 5th. But, if the checks are not put in the mail system until the 5th or the 7th. They will then be processed those same evenings and delivered the next day.

My last two dit. is 72 and I got my by the date it said I would... I did have Direc. Dep. too so yes I did get it on time... I was thankful for it too...

I actually got mine early. Mine was supposed to be sent 6/27. I got it 6/13. And I got the same letter you did the following Monday. I think you'll have it by next week. Sit tight!
