Hang on there
I for one am a single father bringing up my 11 and 7 year old. I don't get jack **** from my ex wife she earns over double of what I earn.
So all of you feminist Band waggon jumpers just remember it is supposed to be both ways around here. Plenty of Dads struggling to make ends meet!!! |

CSA payments depend on which rules the assessment was worked on
Old Rules: don't even try to work out! The calculation was so hard even CSA couldn't get it right
New Rules: 1 child 15% of income. 2 children 20% of income, 3 or more children 25% of income, after allowable expenses.
Doesn't matter if the new partner works or is a millionaire unless they adopt them he doesn't have to pay anything towards their up keep |

if he doesn't work you'll be lucky to get 50p!
My ex pays £2.50 a mth for 3 and he'll never get a job coz he pleads disability. |

As little as they can get away with.
The one n only - i am not referring just to men, the CSA are a crock of ****, absent parents either get away with paying nothing or are made to pay well over the odds |

is the women with the partner of whom she wants money from? or do you mean you want money from csa but you have a new boyfriend but he doesn't work? I presume its the last one - it doesn't matter if your partner is working that has nothing to do with how much the child's father pays, if the child's father is working it is 25% of his wages but if the mother isnt working and on income support you dont get that amount you get £5 onto your benefits - thats if the CSA have sorted it out - dont expect to get anything as the CSA are closing down soon and the new cases will be kept aside. |

Give up now - the CSA is unorganised and can't get money from anyone.
It's supposed to be a certain % of their income depending on individual circumstances. |

the minimums 10% of his earnings, when i was unemployed they took £5 of me dole a week ,so this is correct..as for tracey k receiving 2.50 a month thats just f-in ridiculous,i give my ex 40 a week an my wage isnt great, but us blokes need some rights as ,she does hairdessing from home and at times earns more then me,tax free, free roof over her head, dole ,and a cushdy saturday cash in hand job,so is this fair. |

it should be 15%. but i think it will depend on the situation they are in, if they are in a lot of debt, or circumstances are that he does not earn much money, they would have to give less i think. |

£5 is week is the minimum payment from the man.
Most of them get away with paying nothing at all though. |

I'm not sure. I believe if its all means-tested i.e. it depends on how much the biological father earns. It doesn't matter if the woman is with a partner or no - the committment and the responsibility to provide for the children doesn't end for a father just because his former partner now has a new woman in his life. |

it will depend on the mans income and also wether they have any other dependants. eg. new wife, other kids.
i dont quite understand the second part but if you are living with a man, you dont claim child support from him.
if a man is unemployed he will not have to pay child support (except possibly if he has a lot of money in the bank-im not sure about that) |
