so 14,000 net pay

i belive that would put you in the 15% tax bracket

$8/hour for 8 hours a day - $64/day
5 days a week = $320/week
52 weeks a year - $16,640/year

Not counting unpaid leave, sick days, vacation, etc.

Since you don't seem to be paying social security and medicare, insurance and other fees your employer deducts and gets paid $8 per hour, and 40 hours work week, you would be getting $1,280 a month.

anshul_m_81
320 less the tx slab of the country

bigtalltom
the easiest way to do a rough calculation of yearly salary based on an hourly rate(for people who work F/T) it to multiply the hourly rate by 2,000. So, for your situation, about 16,000 a year.

$64 per day, $320 per week. Your yearly income (or salary) after tax would be on the vicinity of $15,360 for a 48 week year, providing that you get about 4 weeks off for Christmas Vacation.

320 x 52 (weeks) $16,640 a year. (NET)

40hr X $8.00= 320 gross income
gross income minus taxes= take home pay

$320.00/wk minus taxes
$320.00 X 2= $640.00 every two weeks minus taxes
88hrs X $8.00= $704.00 minus taxes; twice a month
$320.00 X 52= $16640.00 annual income

If it is salary is going to be based of a 86.60 hours every pay period, which is usually 2 weeks. When is salary you don't calculate exactly 40 hours a week, you calculate it per pay period. Amount of taxes deducted is based off of the amount of exemptions being claimed and marital status.
