My new salary will be £26,000.
How much of this will I take home after paying Tax, NI and a 6% pension contribution?

Hi. Take off about a third to cover the Tax,NI and pension.

Firstly take of the 6% as this is not taxable, due to paying into a pension.

Next 20% for income tax

Then 11% for national insurance.

So after deductions you are looking at approx £17,401.00

Good luck

take hom pay= £1515.63

financial tools - salary calculator
it'll tell you how much tax and NI you should pay

about 75% although there may be hidden costs like council taxes on your property, road tax, VAT on you luxuries, etc.

about £18,500

I dont agree with any of the above answers. It depends on how much you have earned this tax year and what date you start the new job.

Tax based on a BR tax code (22%) (i don't know what tax code you are on)

26,000 / 12 = £2166.66

- Tax & NI of £671 = £1495.66

Approximately
