How much sales tax do you pay where you live?
And do you mind paying it?

Here (Ontario, Canada), I pay 13%. And I don't really care - it's such a small amount you hardly notice and it pays for really important things that I use every day.

I live in PA where the sales tax is 6%. That's plenty. If your in Ontario and sales tax there is 13% I now now why people from your area come by the bus load to PA to shop. We also don't pay sales tax on clothing.

8.25%. -- Houston Texas. I wouldn't really mind if the money went to help the poor, or provide a good education for my child, but instead here it goes to line politicians pockets! Krinka, we totally pay tax on groceries, that is just a rumor, but it sure would be nice if it were true hon!

7% in Rhode Island (USA), and i don't think it pays for any services that I use so I consider it outrageously high, and it's one of the reason so many people are moving out of RI.
