Depending on your tax bracket it can be as much as appoximately $900 or as little as 450 |

you would save a lot of money, because you would be eligible for the Earned Income Credit. For one child you can get as much as 1500 back. |

im not sure- it depends on you income and tax deductions, if he lets you claim him though yes you will save some. |

If your a single mother and you claim your child than you should get almost all of you $ back that you paid out. Plus earned income credit. ( so much per child) |

This will depend on your income and other factors. If you don't have any other children, claiming your son will qualify you to file as Head of Household (probably) and give you a more favorable bracket. The exemption for your son is $3400 dollars, so again depending upon other factors, you will have quite a nice savings. Need more info to provide you a better answer. |

Each exemption is $3300 per year. The savings is your tax on that amount. It all depends on your tax bracket. It would be $330-$1155.
You may also get additional savings by claiming head of household. That puts you into a lower bracket.
Earned income credit is only for people with very little income. |

you get a $1000 credit for having a dependent .. how much you save would depend on your earnings and how much has been deducted over the yr |
