You won't get back anything taken out for state disability, Social Security, or Medi-Care. If you had any federal or state withholding tax deducted from your checks, you'll likely get all of that back if you make less than $5000 (? exact number) for the year.
Keep in mind that a tax refund is the result of having more money withheld from your paychecks than your actual tax obligation for the year. |

It depends. I'm not sure you understand just what a refund is. Through the year you might have money withheld from your paycheck for federal income tax. At the end of the year, you prepare a form called a tax return to calculate how much tax you owe total for the year, and compare that to what was withheld. If you had more withheld than your total tax, you get the extra back as a refund. If you didn't have enough withheld, you have to pay the rest rather than getting a refund.
A refund isn't some sort of bonus the government gives you for working. It's like if you went to WalMart and bought $16 worth of items, but gave the cashier a $20 bill. You'd get a "refund" of $4, but it's not them giving you something, it's just getting your own money back.
So if you have too much withheld, you'll get the extra refunded to you. If you don't have enough taken out, you'll have to pay at the end of the year, plus possible penalties.
Without knowing how much you expect to earn for the year, and how much you expect to have withheld for federal income taxes (NOT any other withholdings like social security, medicare or state taxes) there's no way to even guess. |

ok if your parents claim you then you will not get anything back. but if you claim your self and you work at pizza hut and if you putting in 40 hours and prob get payed about 8 buck per hour, your probably get back about 150 buck if not a little less.....you wouldn't owe anything bc you don't make enough. But if your parent claim you they will get about 3,000 for you so if they can claim you just ask them if they can give you some of the money. |

it all depends. Since you're probably considered a dependent by your parents, you probably won't get much. If you claimed 0 deductions on your w-4, you should get some money back, and if you claimed 1, you will get less. But again, it all depends. |

If you're only working part time after school, chances are you'll get back pretty much all of what's being held out of your check for federal and state taxes (if any).
You won't get back whatever they're taking out for Social Security and Medicare. Those payments are non-refundable. |

It depends on how much you earn for the year and where you live. Most probably you can kiss FICA, Medicare and state and local taxes good bye. The rest you may get back. |
