You have to get it from UTI as the department has outsourced it!
However, the Income Tax Department Website has a facility for providing this information and verifying PAN Number since it is required for many purposes to quote this number! |

You need to enter the Name and date of Birth as its declared in PAN form. The next page will ask for Fathers name.
Please ensure that details are filled exactly as it was filled in the form, else it might give you wrong or no details. |
