I am talking about the stimulus check. I just heard even if you filed direct deposit but the tax place took their money out of my tax return that you will get a check instead of direct deposit. I went to the web but I couldn't find anything about that. |

If you went through a third party, I've heard you may get it later. My last 2 of my social is 78, so I received mine direct deposit today. I filed myself, though. If you get it direct deposit, it will be there first thing when the bank opens. They don't do deposits hourly. All happen at posting time at midnight. Just check with your bank and see if it's there. Or, call the tax place and they should know. |

I have not heard of a company that deducts their charge from your tax rebate... But if it is direct deposit it should take a couple days to maybe up to 2-3 weeks max for you to get it.
O yeah and if it is direct deposit it will go directly to your bank account, you will not receive a check or anything you will just see more money!!!

Since the preparer withheld money from your refund the IRS doesn't have your banking information. You will get a paper check mailed to you. |

If you had your rebate on direct deposit, then your stimulus check will be Direct Deposit also - unless your preparer did something funky with your original rebate. If that's the case, you will most likely get a paper check and that takes longer

anybody (such as myself) who direct depostited from places such as H&R block will be sent a paper check in the mail. THese places wanted to take a % of the stimulus check to deposit it and the government didn't want to do that. So go by the date of paper check |

If you have provided the IRS with direct deposit bank account information to receive your regular tax refund, your economic stimulus rebate will come directly into your bank account. If you had a tax place (like H & R Block Or Jackson Hewitt) then you automatically get a paper check. They don't start mailing them out till mid June.

When you did your taxes if you had them do direct deposit, they will do the same with your stimulus check so you can expect that. As far as when, they are deciding who to do first by the last 2 digits of your social security number, mine is 28 and i got mine May 9th. <(Direct Deposit). Please Read More Here, Hope This Helps.
