Hr block messed up my return and won't refund my money. What should I do?
I went in and did my taxes on the 12th of January, I was told that I was going to get the 1-2 day and on the day that my refund was supposed to be on my card it wasn't there. I called and they told me that I wasn't approved for the 1-2 day. Now I want my whole tax preperation money refunded plus the cost of the 1-2 process. What should I do?

Also file a complaint with the attorney general in your state.

Block did not "mess up" your return.

The bank saw something in your credit that they didn't like or there may be an IRS offset on your account. (ie defaulted student loans)

RAL's are not guaranteed. The bank says "No" many times. You probably wouldn't have gotten the RAL regardless of where you went.

As of now, Block owes you nothing. You will get a letter in the mail from the bank telling you why they denied the RAL.

Abigail Marie due in Dec
you can't get your tax preparation money back but you should get the cost of the1-2 loan back It has nothing to do with HR block if you get approved for the loan or not so they still get the fee for filing your taxes

We had problems with H&R Block several years ago.

Let me tell you....a letter carries a lot of power. If the supervisor of the H&R Block office is not cooperative, write a letter to the president and vice president of H&R Block..You can get his address and name by doing some research on Yahoo or Google.

In addition, send a copy of your letter to your state attorney's office, your local news station and The Better Business Bureau. Indicate this on your letter to H&R Block. This will get their attention.

Good luck!

H&R Block did not mess up anything. H&R Block was trying to file your tax return with the information you provide to them. YOU messed because IRS rejected your return for something you have not filed or owe. You are at fault so they don't owe you your money back, they tried. H & R Block doesn't know anything about you only what you tell them and provide them..
you are at fault..

That why you should file your own tax return, and quit wasting your money on paying some one to file for you.

Good luck H & R Block doesn't give money back on their "Work" they do but you should be able to get your money back for the 1-2 day process the fact being you didn't get it. When you get your refund it should automatically be added back in to the amount.

You Dont Scare Me!!!!
just tell them to keep the stupid money

stop using h & r crock

Don't go back to HR Block! I would call and speak to the supervisor in the office you went to, and explain what happened. If someone in his office told you that you would get your money within a certain time frame, then you should get it. I would raise a stink!
