Don't fear it. Seriously.
It's you're reasonably bright, you'll be able to do them yourself. Really. And with tax software, like Turbo Tax and Tax Cut, it's even easier. All it takes it following directions.
If you have a complicated situation or are not good at following directions, you can pay someone to do it for you.
The main thing is that, no matter what, you need to be good about keeping records.
But, no, this is NOT something to fear. |

Taxes are not hard to do but why would you be afraid to do them? No need to be afraid everyone has to do them sooner or later or you can always pay someone to do them for you.. |

taxes are real easy until you actually make a good salary or own something big (like a house). also, no worries until you get married or have children, then it becomes more tricky. and most of the time, unless you're making lots of money, you'll get money back from the government because they tax the underpaid too much. |

generally a tax return is REALLY easy. this is especially the case with programs such as Turbo Tax. Don't worry!
