On your P60 you should find the contact details for the tax office dealing with your tax. Failing this, ask your employer for this information, or telephone you nearest inland revenue office, giving them the code no.on your P60. Next contact the correct office, by phone, or mail, and explain the situation. If there is a repayment due, it should be processewd anfd back to you within 1 month.
Also ask them to allocate you a proper, permanent tax code to prevent further overpayments. |

Ask you finance department for the address and telephone number of the local tax office.
Contact them, explain the situation and ask for the forms to claim a tax refund.
There's no need to go through or pay for an intermediary.
The tax officials are usually quite helpfull but you do have to jump through whatever hoops they ask you to and they don't necessarily proceed that quickly.
Good luck |

Go to your local tax office and explain the situation to them. You just have to answer the questions and fill in the forms.I helped a French friend of mine to claim his tax back. They were very helpful in the tax office. You have nothing to hide.Do it as soon as possible. The money is far better in your pocket. |

Absolutely the easiest way would be to go to your nearest tax office with details of you earnings for the year and they will help you fill out the necessary form (R40 - tax repayment claim form) while your there.
I promise that in your situation the people you speak to will not be the scary people you might expect. The scary ones are reserved for those people who have been naughty.
To find you nearest office visit the "contact us" section of the HMRC website www.hmrc.gov.uk |

Thats easy, send your P60 with a covering letter to your designated tax office and ask them for it back. They will then send you a cheque. I know every else has said this but the reason to ask is why did you overpay this tax? Check with who deals with your wages as you may be overpaying it now and they should be able to advise you. |

Contact your tax office - the payroll office should be able to give you details of how to contact your local tax office. You should not have to pay an intermediary to do it for you - your tax office will do it for free. Depending on what information they ask for and how long you take to send it to them, your tax office should be able to do the calculation and send you a cheque within a couple of months or even less. |

No but i suggest you go personally to the nearest inland revenue office and sit down at the desk with a person who will explain and inform you how to reclaim. its not complicated just a signature on the reverse side of p60. Good luck |

You can claim it back. I did it before when I was taxed whilst working part time and being in full time education.
Go to this website for some guidance and I think you can get the forms you need to fill in to:
