gwb_is_awesome | I've found that I currently owe money to the IRS..how can I fudge the numbers so I earn a refund? |
I didn't like the amount I owed the IRS in taxes when I did the calculation. Even though I then made up some expenses for Moving, and some charitable donations, I still owe the IRS about $2050. My question is how can I make the numbers work so I am owed a refund? I am looking to get at least $1500 as my wife wants to take a trip to Vegas in a month (We're going to be staying at the Bellagio)...and we make too much money to get the economic stimulus thing...thanks. |

Are you serious? Are you really asking these people to help you commit tax fraud?
You already admitted that you have fudged the numbers. You had better be careful what you say on a public forum.
Like the first answerer mentioned, you have no sympathy here. You should be ashamed of yourself. |

Jumpin' jiminy. You are asking others to help you commit tax fraud to the tune of more than $3500?
And you make more than $150K. No sympathy here. |

You will think back on this as one of your worst mistakes, as you bend over in the shower in federal prison to pick up your dropped bar of soap and then realize your second mistake . . . |

Many legitimate deductions are missed. Here's my hit list - make sure you look under every rock and take only THE ONES THAT LEGALLY APPLY TO YOU. But take them all - no one likes to give Uncle Sam money unless necessary.
Did you have your own business? (Schedule C) Part of the cost of your home office is deductible. Did you buy any equipment? Deduct up to $125,000. Did you have any un-reimbursed employee expenses? (Form 2106).
Good luck! |
