it all depends, if you got your tax fee taken out of your refund instead of paying it right off the bat then you will be getting a check....i filed with turbo tax and got the fee taken from my refund and now i will be getting a paper check also..even though we go direct deposit.. |

Some of you people are funny. The IRS is not under some sort of "deadline" or "cutoff" today. If (I should say when) they don't complete all the deposits (whatever "all" means), the sky won't fall. And nobody will have any recourse against the IRS either.

I am in the same boat. Waiting, waiting. Hoping it goes through tonight, or at the very latest Monday! There is no reason why we shouldn't have our money on the 2nd like the IRS website's calendar shows. |

If you filed with direct deposit, you should have your money now. If you filed with a check, then you will have to wait until all the direct deposits are completed in 2-3 weeks. That's when they will start mailing out the paper checks. |

I too used TurboTax to file my taxes and still haven't received my rebate check. I had everything (including fees) deducted directly from my bank account and my SS number ends between 00-20. My federal was filed back in February and my state was filed on the April 15th. I tried using the Stimulus Payment Status tool on the IRS website but received a message back saying "We are sorry, but we cannot provide the status of your Stimulus payment". Is it correct to assume that TurboTax filers will not see the funds deposited as scheduled since a third party was involved in making the initial direct deposit transactions? |

If you paid the tax preparer with your refund, you will get a paper check, even though you got direct deposit. I talked to the IRS today. The tax business you go through uses another bank to direct deposit your money, the IRS didn't deposit, so now we wait! lovely isn't it, someobody should have said something about this! |

I have not received my stimulus check as of 2:45 today and my last 2 digits are 02. I don't know what is going on but I have friends that have gotten theirs and they have a higher number than I have. Mine is suppose to be direct deposited into my account. Is there a way to check to see if the money is on its way ect... I know you can check the tracking of a refund check but wondered if you can do the same with this. I am like thousands of others as I didn't receive a notice in the mail. The IRS is so complicated. They take their time sending us our money but if we owe them money heavens forbid if it is not on time they charge s interest and more. To bad we cant do that to them !!!! But maybe some one can help answer our questions as the IRS I think just gives me a line of bull to get off the phone!! |

I am having the same problem as you, mine is 12 and still haven't seen it.
And to Zachary's post, I did hear from a Craigslist poster saying that it will mostly likely be midnight when it is posted. I am hoping it will be before that, maybe within 30 minutes. Here's hoping. |

Yeah i'm pretty upset with how this is working. I met all the requirements for the check and my # is 01 and still have not received my stim check. I had done my taxes in the beggining of feb and had then direct deposited, although turbotax required a fee for their service so i had that taken out of my bank accnt directly, which i dont think should matter...any reason why i wouldnt have mine yet? oh and i had my taxe return on 02/13. |
