You can ask IRS for a last year's income tax transcript
You need to fill out a Form 4506 and mail it to IRS

The procedure and the form can be found at.
http://www.irs.gov/faqs/faq-kw31.html

IRS charges 39 bucks for whole tax copy. If you need only transcript (most tax line items appear on it), it is free of charge.. Fill out the Form 4506-T (available via above link) and let IRS help you out.

http://www.irs.gov/taxtopics/tc156.html tells you how to get a copy or a transcript from the IRS. A transcript is the same info, just computer printed so in a different format - it will work for about anything you'd need a copy for, and it's free.

Go to the IRS website and download Form 4506 if you want a copy of the return as filed with all attachments. It takes a few weeks and there is a $39.00 fee. You can get a free transcript using Form 4506-T or by calling them on the phone. It's a list of the lines numbers and amounts from your return but will suffice in most cases. It takes about 10 days by mail or a few minutes if you have access to a fax machine.

Check out the IRS website. They should have information on obtaining duplicate copies of old tax forms.

umm contact the job you need it from and see if they can help. I think they should be able to but it might cost you a 20 to get a new copy of it. Also dont let friends do your taxes thats why HnR block has their helpful thing to do it for you pretty much. Or get the computer program Turbo Tax and do it yourself.
