I am also Brazilian, and I see your English is not as good as that of the Indian people who meet here, so it might be you do not understand my reply.
Our Country, Brazil, is a land of very poor people, only some regions , more developed and cosmopolitan, as the southern/southwest States, can offer a better life to people.
And, of course, even in these poor regions, wealthy people can be found, but they are in very limited proportion.
I have a good friend who always wanted to live in India. Some time ago, she sold her house and all her belongings and went to India. She is living in Goa, and loving it! She works for a non governamental organization.She feels very happy and tells me that she is already feeling more Indian than Brazilian. India, let me tell you, is one of the most beautiful and interesting Countries in the world, with an astonishing History and philosophy of life.

I live in the most rich State of the Union, São Paulo, and I am part of as movement to help poor people. They are countless, as I an sure you know.

you would probably think it is bad to be in india with very little. But I think it is all a matter of taste. I would not like to be a living creature very well brazillian. Logical!. I dont think i would like to be an indian poor person. But you may not like to be a average american. We all have good and bad in our lives. |

Its question is a bit strange... Well, the poor people and the needy people have a very bad life in any place. I live in River of Janeiro, the richest state in Brazil, and I can see many peoples and its difficulties poor, here. In India, they must the same be, to the exception of a reason: the peoples there, are put hierarchic layers (in castes) and they do not move of social class, believing - second the Hindu belief - that this is karma of them. |
