Anne S | I am single claimed HOH have 1 child under 17 and received 600 should it have been 900 from IRS? |
|

Depends on what your income is. I received 900 with the same stats that you list but I make under the governments cut off |

3 for you and 3 for the child and if you made enough it would have been 6 for you....they say up to 600 depending on your income. |

I believe your individual return for you, not the child, would go by your income. Weather yours would be $300 + $300 for your child or if it would be $600 + $300 is based on your earnings. |

The $600 is probably corrrect, $300 for you and $300 for your child. Your payment for yourself would only be $600 if your tax liability was at least $600. If your tax liability was $300 or less, the amount you got is right. |

You received $300, and not $600.
The rebate payment is equal the amount of tax liability on the return (tax liability on the return Form 1040 line 46 or Form 1040A line 28) with a minimum amount of $300 and a maximum amount of $600 for individuals. //n
If you do not receive full amount of $600 now, then you may get the balance amount when you file your 2008 return, and you become eligible for the tax rebate.
For information on stimulus tax rebate read: http://taxipay.blogspot.com/2008/04/list-of-articles.html |

The answer to this question depends on your income. If you made less that $14150 and had not taxable income than you would have received 300 for yourself and 300 for your dependent. If you made more and had child tax credit to 0 it out then you probably still would have received the 600 not he 900. If you had tax after your child tax credit then you might have gotten the 900 and not the 600. You will need to look at your tax return and see what the number show. |

No, you got the correct amount. $300.00 for you and $300.00 for your eligible child. $900.00 would have been the maximum that COULD have been paid out. |
|

it's me
|
No , you only recieve $600 per "married couple" and $300 per child. if you are single you will recieve $300 for you ,any question you might still have you can go to www.irs.gov |
