Fee's taken out of refund SHOULD result in paper check.
The turbo tax website says that the IRS can't and won't direct deposit a rebate if you allowed your tax preparer to deduct their fees from your refund.
Best to go ahead and expect a paper check and if you happen to get direct deposit then you can be surprised. But I wouldn't count on DD. |

Because you paid your fees out of your refund, TurboTax had your refund go to their account at the Santa Barbara Bank & Trust.
When the IRS deposited your refund, they deposited into third-party bank account where your fees for having your taxes done and also the fees due to the bank for that service are first deducted, then the rest was disbursed to you either by direct deposit, or by check.
The only direct deposit info the IRS has on your 2007 return is for that third-party bank, not your personal account. This is why you will get a paper check. The only exception to this is if you had your refund deposited onto a prepaid debit card offered by the tax place, but paid your fees upfront and DID NOT have them taken out of your refund. In that case the rebate will go on your card. |

I had my tax refund go directly into my checking account. Will my rebate check go into my account? Last digits of my SSN are 06 |

The IRS specifically states that if your refund was intercepted by a 3rd party OR split between multiple accounts then your rebate will come via paper check...
Here is the thing...your rebate was either intercepted by SBBT or it was split into SBBT's account so they could get their fee...in either case, because it did not come in full 100% from the IRS (the full amount of your refund is what I am refering to) you will recieve a paper check.
Turbo Tax has addressed this on their website stating that anyone who used Turbo Tax and had their fees withheld from their refund will recieve a paper check rebate.
Sorry |

If your Federal Income Tax wasn't direct deposited into your checking account you will get a paper check. The IRS website has a chart telling you when paper checks and direct deposit monies will be sent out. It will go by the last 2 digits of your social security number. Hope I could help!!! Waiting for my money too!!!! |

Those with 14 as the last two digits should expect their checks no later than May 23 through the mail -- DD should get theirs no later than May 2.
I filed with Turbo Tax and did direct deposit of my refund, so I'm expecting my check to hit my account by Friday. |

If the IRS has any bank routing number that they have used on file, thats where it will go. As for when, the IRS has changed the game a few times so I would assume prolly Friday or Monday. |

You will get your rebate check the same way you requested you tax refund check.
So if you had a 2007 refund and you got direct deposit then your rebate check will arrive by direct deposit.
If you got a paper check then you will recieve a paper check in the mail.
If you did not recieve a tax refund. You shoul have been asked by turbo tax how you would like to recieve it. If you did not specify they will mail you a check! |

Yes, those who filed electronically, received a direct deposit into their checking account, and whose last two numbers end in 00 through 20 should see their money in the bank by Friday May 2nd. |
