It's only May 1st. Direct deposits just started this week.
The only people who are getting it this week are those with SS# ending in 00 - 20.
21 - 75 get theirs by May 9th

Please remember that they just this week started sending the rebates...only direct deposits have been done as of right now and only about 2.4 million people (out of 130 million) have gotten theirs...so be patient...
They are being sent out by the last 2 digits of your SSN...the round this week is 00-20...that means if your SSN falls in this range your rebate will be here by the end of the week. If you would like to see the rest of the schedule check out the IRS website... |

I got my $300 Tuesday. It was direct deposited to my account. The IRS is sending the payments according to the last 2 numbers of your social security number, and whether you chose direct deposit or by mail on your tax return. |

IRS began the transfer economic stimulus payments from April 28, 2008, and many have already seen the payments in their bank accounts. Those who opted for direct deposit will be the first to get the rebate. Mailing of paper check will begin from May 16. Those with last two digits of SSN between 88 to 99 will get paper check after July 4, 2008.

I noticed that a couple of you have said you got yours. If you did, are you single and did you file a 1040ez? And do you have any dependents? Mine are 32, I filed way back in Jan and I don't have any dependents and haven't seen anything yet. Making me mad that all these people with higher numbers are getting theirs before me! |
