Why not get a job with the hours you need? Less stress.

Either get another job that meets your criteria or get another part time job as well. It's your life, do what you have to.

I work 40 hours a week and I cant hardly live on that! Whats your secret for being able to live on only 25? and you can only get overtime if you work over 40 hours a week here where I live. Just simply tell your boss you need more hours!

It would be less stress if you can get 5 more hours at current job than trying to get another job with hours that won't conflict with current job.

If you can work fulltime, I would suggest looking for something fulltime with benefits. Invest the extra $$ you don't need now for a rainy day or retirement. You would be surprised how saving over time really can add up.

stormydays
Have you mentioned to the employer that you would like to be considered for overtime???

confused
Overtime is not guaranteed to give you at least 25 hours or more a week. It is only as and when...

You are better off getting either a second part time job or getting a full time job elsewhere...

If you can't get extra hours from your employer, why don't you top up your income by claiming Working Tax Credits?
