If you got the rapid refund, it will be a couple of days, if that. If you e-filed, it will be about 2 weeks. If you didnt it with just the paper work, its gonna take like a month, maybe more. |

I filed mine on January 31st, and when I checked on my refund through the IRS website, I was told that it had been received and was being processed, and that I should expect my refund by the 19th if there are no mistakes. Since you filed the day after I did mine, you will likely get your refund around the same time that I receive mine. |

You know it's only Feb 9, right? Give it at least two or three more weeks. |

If you did direct deposit it takes up to 2 weeks. Be a little patient. |

I efiled my taxes on my own on February 1st and had my refund in my checking account last night.
If you efiled with direct deposit, expect your refund within the next few days. |

You can go to www.irs.gov and click on the link "Where's my refund?" and the IRS will give you a "no later than" date for your return. |

Why not ask HRB? |

The IRS takes everything e-filed from Thursday thru Wednesday and spends the next few days processing those returns and banking information. On Wednesday they send out the banking information so that refunds are deposited two days later on Friday.
If you filed a normal e-file, the refund should be deposited in your bank on Friday, February 15. Not sure exactly how H&R works it - does it go into your account or their account? But if they get it, and have to have a few days to process the refund, then you should see it by February 22nd.
It sound like the IRS is far enough ahead that some filers get their refunds a week early. |
