Why do you need them?

You can request transcripts from the IRS using form 4506-T (see line 8 of form).

Only from the employers. There is no central repository of W-2s.

talk with family and friends and see if all of you can come up with the places you worked and when
then you can request old W-2's from those employers
most maintain employee records for 4 yrs, after that, good luck

Catharine Oaxaca
Social security can send you a summary of contributions your employers made for your social security for all the years that you worked - you may be able to get assistance from them -just a thought - I dont know for sure.

Harder yet I believe will be getting old W2 forms - employers dont often keep them very long. IRS?

All the best.
