I did a fertility egg donation last year and have received a tax form showing the money i received for this.?
I am being told 2 different things on how to report it on my taxes. One person is telling me that i can claim that money under pain and suffering due to the fact that i had to take numerous shots every night and the doctors appts i had to go to almost everyday. Another is telling me that i am up SH** creek without a paddle and that i have to claim this money and be pay taxes on it. (PS. this amount will drop my refund amount by at least $2500.00).
If you received a 1099, then you claim it as other income. If you have receipts for your mileage and other expenses you might be able to write it off as a medical expense, but you would need all the dates and information documented.
Contact a tax preparer in your area if you are still unsure of how the income was reported to you.

Start paddling. The money is taxable income to you.

if you received money, you have to report it as income.

If you were paid for services rendered (and that is what this is) then you need to claim it on your taxes. If you are worried about the proper way to file this tax form... have an accountant do your taxes this year, or call one to find out what to do with it. Doing your taxes on your own is fine... but on odd years like this one an accountant will make sure that the funds are reported properly and you will get the return that you deserve. Good luck.

You will have to claim the money. You can do your taxes on line for free no matter how much you made or what form you use. Check out this site:
