I was also scheduled to get mine by today and have not received it. I filed my taxes using Turbotax and my return was direct deposited, so maybe the other answerer who said I'd be getting a check instead was right. |

If you filed your original taxes with an on line service or something like turbo tax i just found out that is considered 3rd party and the IRS doesn't recognize them and all those direct deposits will sent via a paper check....... :( |

Same here, In fact I just asked the same question. If you go to www.IRS.gov you can get more info. But yeah, I'm a little concerned because I'm relying on it to pay a bunch of bills!!!

I didn't get mine either. I filed throught turbotax and had the fee taken out of my rebate...live in Indiana...I don't know why...help... |

I was supposed to get mine today too, but didn't. I just wonder though, I'm on ssd, and recieve over $3,000 a year, but I'm only 52....Does that make a difference? I applied for it, and I don't even know if I'll recieve it.... |

The third party wait is not true, my girlfriend and I both filed on the same day, both by myself, using turbo tax. She received hers yesterday although I didn't. She is an Oregon resident , all of my friends here in MN have yet to get theirs, along with myself. I know they are plenty of assumptions and no one really knows the deal, but perhaps they disburse somehow state to state. |

The schedule only applies to certain people. It does not apply to you IF:
1. Your return was not processed by April 15th
2. You used a tax program/tax service and paid your fee out of your refund
It also states on the IRS website to allow 2 weeks from your scheduled date. |

I was supposed to get mine by the 9th. I filed taxes in Feb (using Turbo Tax) and received refund via direct deposit. I've tried calling IRS for days and finally "got thru" this morning to "check status" and was information they didn't have information (same info when i checked on line). I was also told a notice was sent out telling you how much and when you'd receive. I didn't get a notice. |

Some people who filed with Turbo Tax got their direct deposit - either because they did not use any of the TurboTax financing options, or because they used the software on their own computer and not the on-line version of TurboTax.
If you got a refund anticipation loan or paid your fees out of your refund, then you will get a paper check.
There are many options available with Turbo Tax, so depending on which options you used, most of them will mean you get a paper check. |

I filed jointly on turbo tax via direct deposit and with both of ou social security numbers we should have receive by the 9th. Im very confused about why its not here yet. Does anyone have a clear answer. |
