Unless your income is over $250,000 a year, the answer is no. Otherwise, the economic stimulus package checks are being sent out according to the last 2 digits of your social security number. So right now, the process of sending out checks may still be on-going. Your last 2 SS digits may be on the higher end of the scale and so you will be among the last to receive them.

For further information on the release dates of these checks, check out this website: http://www.irs.gov/irs/article/0,,id=180250,00.html

How much was your income? And what was your filing status? If you are single the rebate starts to phase out at $75k and at $150k if you are married filing a joint return. (It's NOT $250k as another poster states!) You would have received a letter from the IRS explaining how they calculated your rebate even if you were not eligible for one.

If you haven't received that letter yet, your rebate has not been processed yet. However you have not provided enough information to say anything more. When did you file? How did you file? Did you have a refund coming or did you owe when you filed? Do you owe any back taxes, unpaid child support or student loans in default? How much was your AGI and what was your filing status? Were you claimed as a dependent by another taxpayer? These are just a few of the questions that need to be answered first.

If your AGI (adjusted gross income) is over $150K on a joint return or $75K on a return that isn't joint, then it starts to phase out - not much higher, and you aren't eligible.

Since you don't say what your income is, there is no way to answer your question.

Mathew
The phase out for rebate checks is $75k for single filers and $150k for married folks. If you are below that there is some other problem. The most common is that you did not have your return filed in time to have been PROCESSED by 4/15/08.
