I don't think you'll get it in May. But as long as you file your taxes by Oct 15th, you'll get it this year.

You have not filed your return. Until you file your return, you are not eligible for the stimulus payment.

If your return is filed and processed by October 15, you will receive a payment. Otherwise, you may qualify for a payment based on your 2008 tax return.

Verna J
J is correct. You will get it this year. The mailing dates is dependent on the last 2 digits of the social security number. But, keep in mind there's 50 states.

Judy1
No, you won't get it in May. If you file by October though you will get it, although it will be delayed.

MukatA
Only after you file your tax return. It must be on or before Oct 15, 2008.

For information on stimulus tax rebate schedule, the eligibility and how much rebate you will get read: http://taxipay.blogspot.com/2008/02/are-you-eligible.html

Not until your 2007 Tax return is sent and processed.

Ms. Angel..
you will receive if you qualify for the rebate about 6 weeks after you file your federal tax return, and IRS has processed the return.
