Don't know your last two digits, but I will proceed with the possibilities.

Calling the IRS is the answer. Recommended by one: "Try calling 800-829-0582 X462, I called on Monday evening, held for about ten minutes and actually talked to a live person who told me that mine would be DD today".
Another IRS number. Of course, make sure that it is really a person who works for the IRS and that the number is not a diversion to get your SS#: RE: irs rebate: rebate hot-line you will need to have information from your return of last year...so have the forms ready. Number is 1-866-234-2942
If 28 days have passed after the IRS says it mailed a refund check, “Where’s My Refund?” enables taxpayers to initiate a trace. The refund trace and address
change features are only available in English at this time.

Some scam artists are sending phony emails, including those relating to “Where’s My Refund?”, to trick individuals into revealing personal financial information that can be used to access their financial accounts. People who want to access the genuine IRS Web site and the “Where’s My Refund?” feature should go directly to the IRS Web site by typing the address, www.irs.gov, into the address` line of their Internet window. The only genuine IRS Web site is IRS.gov/.

Then are some problems with Turbotax. One or more of these would explain why you have not received your economic stimulus check as of yet. Here are a couple testimonials:

If you eFiled on Turbotax, Santa Barbara Bank and Trust handled it.
http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/0/234/RipOff0234476.htm
INTUIT AND SSBT WORK TOGETHER TO DECEIVE AND STEAL:
SBBT: http://www.ripoffreport.com/searchresults.asp?q5=santa%20barbara%20bank%20and%20trust&q1=ALL&q4=&q6=&q3=&q2=&q7=&searchtype=0&submit2=Search%21&Search=Search

Another possibility as to why you have not received your stimulus check, do you have children under 17, were you able to take the Child Tax Credit or the Additional Child Tax Credit?
"Hope this can answer a ??? for some that used turbo tax.... which I did. It didnt {sic} automatically check the box that a child qualified for child tax credit...line 6c i believe. Which would normally be checked even if you didnt {sic} qualify for the credit. Hence {,} even though you have them as a dependent you dont {sic} get credit....I spent an hour on the phone with {the} irs and was told ...too bad {;} nothing you can do except ask for it next yr maybe. And you cant {sic} file an amended return to fix the problem. Yea{,} right. And I will never{,} ever use turbo tax again!"

SSBT: all banks do it. But heinous&ripoff, jackson-dimwit and others misled. They and the software providers make you think that this is not like a bank. It is, and they steal just as all banks do. If you got a RAL, the banks that Jackson-dimwit and heinous & ripoff use may have withheld more from your refund than you were led to believe. Hence, the refund that you submitted to the IrS was not the same and caused a snafu from the IRS. You will be receiving a check in the mail in June, July, August or September:
"Turbotax and SBBT working together in a scam. They cleverly hide the extra $30 fee to efile. Then SBBT will send you what appears to be a check in the mail, but its not a check at all- its a loan with an outrageous interest rate. DO NOT USE TURBOTAX AT ALL. DO NOT USE THE OPTION TO DEDUCT MONEY FROM YOUR REFUND TO PAY FOR EFILING, DO NOT CASH LOAN CHECK FROM SBBT UNTIL YOU ARE SURE IT IS COVERED"

With Intuit Turbotax, another possibility. Do you have to pay local income tax {NYC, Phil, Boston, Harrisburg, Balt, Pittsburg, Clev, Chicago, etc}? A man e-mailed this testimony: "...Apparently turbo tax does not know about the "City of New York" tax ,so it was 1100 less than I expected. Thank you though! "
It could be, although of course it could be he didn't input any thing in to the software under local inocme tax withheld.

In any event, Intuit goofed and a lot of taxpayers are angry. There's even more problems than this, but they have time to clean up the mess by next January. Good luck.

so sorry, I am in the same boat....I called IRS at 1-866-234-2942, option 2 then option 3, hang on and you will get a human to speak to. The lady I got was very nice, but she told me that she showed me as having a RAL thru turbotax so I would get a paper check, even though I only had filing fees deducted. Call IRS, its the best way to find out whats going on w your specific situation...good luck

if you had filing fees or an RAL you will be getting a paper check.

beer_logic
I have not received my check either. I have been using turbotax for the past few years and have had my filing fees taken out of my rebate which is directly deposited in my account. If you're in the same situation, let turbotax know here:

http://turbotax.intuit.com/support/kb/e-file/ef/6272.html

Now I will wait and see what happens...

I don't agree w/ most on this. I posted a question a day or so ago because I saw a segment on CNN that said Turbo Tax filers (and a few others it did not detail) would be experiencing delays. I posted as I did not catch all of the details and I was wondering if Tax Act was included. I DID catch that Turbo Tax said THEY were at fault in the instances they were speaking of and gave out a number for their customers to call. Then, just now, the YA news page says 15K stimulus checks went to the wrong people, so I don't think anyone but the IRS knows for certain If you KNOW you met all of the IRS requirements then I would call Turbo Tax. OR, I think they said on the TV segment I caught part of that the number could be found on their site.

stimulus checks are being sent out by the last two digits in your social security number. if you did not have your tax rebate directly deposited in to your bank account you should get your stimulus check by the beginning of july i think

If you used Turbo Tax and filed your taxes on-line with them you will not receive a direct deposit, it will be a paper check:

"If filing or preparation fees were deducted from your 2007 refund or if you obtained a refund anticipation loan or other bank product related to your regular tax refund, you will receive a check instead of a direct deposit.

Paper checks will also go out based on Social Security number. For Social Security numbers ending in 00 through 09, the paper checks will be mailed starting May 9 and will continue through May 16. A similar process will be repeated in the following weeks.

Please allow additional delivery time, perhaps 3 to 5 days, since the paper checks are being sent through the mail.
PAPER CHECK

Last two SSN digits: Payments will be mailed no later than (and received a few days after):
00 through 09 May 16
10 through 18 May 23
19 through 25
May 30
26 through 38 June 6
39 through 51 June 13
52 through 63 June 20
64 through 75 June 27
76 through 87 July 4
88 through 99 July 11 "

From the irs-gov web site.

Ms. Angel..
It all depends on when you filed your tax return and when it was processed. Check out he IRS website "wheres my stimulus" have your tax return, you will need some info from it.

ABOUT GETTING A PAPER CHECK IF YOU HAD YOUR FEES DEDUCTED....THIS IS NOT ALWAYS TRUE. MY FRIEND USED TAX ACT ONLINE HAD HER FEES DEDUCTED FROM HER REFUND AND HAD HER STIMULUS REFUND IN HER CHECKING ACCOUNT LAST WEEK. I'M NOT SURE THAT THERE ARE SPECIFIC RULES. I THINK THEY ARE SENDING THEM OUT WHENEVER. MY FRIEND WORKS AT A BANK AND SAYS SEVERAL HAVE NOT RECEIVED THERE CKS ON THE DATE POSTED BY THE IRS. I HAVEN'T RECEIVED MINE EITHER. HANG IN THERE.
