2005 will have to be submitted by mail.only the current year can be electronically filed
You can access the forms for prior years at this link from the IRS website http://www.irs.gov/formspubs/article/0,,...
You might qualify to have your taxes prepared at your local IRS office if your Income was under $35,000.00 |

You will have to file each return separately. You will have complete you 2005 tax return and mail it in. You do not have to do anything on your 2006 tax return regarding your 2005 tax return. They are separate just file it like normal. |

first off you don't forget something like that you just were not concerned. This year when you file, you can file last years as well pay the fines and penalties and mark it down as experience |

you can go to www.pastyeartax.com and file. I have done this before and it's no big deal, unless you owe taxes.
If the IRS owes you money, they won't be mad that you took an extra year to claim what they owed you... remember they have been holding on to that money tax free since 2005! LOL
Good luck! |

You have to do them separately. And you don't add anything to the 2006 one regarding the previous year not being filed on time - each year is separate.
For the 2005 one, you can download the 2005 forms and instructions at irs.gov - go to "more forms and publications" on the start page, then click on "previous years", then on 2005, then on the forms you need. Fill it out and mail it in - you can't efile for 2005, it's too late. If you owe, you'll pay interest and a penalty. Send them what it says you owe if you can, then they'll get back to you on how much more you owe them for the interest and penalty. If you have a refund coming, you'll get the refund and there won't be a penalty for filing late. |

File separtely. You probably need to pay penalty on late filing and interest if you owe any tax. |

one does not have anything to do with the other. file them at the same time or at different times does not matter. but i suggest that you send them in separate envelopes so to keep them separate. |
