Did you file single or married? If single you got the max for you and your kids. If married, you got the minimum for you and your husband.

It is.

Assuming that you are married, you probably received $600 for you and your spouse plus $300 for each child.

The most common misconception with the rebate is that married couples automatically received $1200 plus $300 each for the kids. This is false. Many lower income couples will only receive $600 as their tax liability is below $600.

Snowflake
$600 is for you the tax payer, then $300 for each dependent child.. Happy surprise!

AnnieG
$600 per adult $300 per child.. do the math

It is $300 for each child..................what is your question????? If you are married and you thought you should get $1800......you probably only got $300 for hubby, $300 for you, and $300 for each child.

i read on irs.com site 600 for adult couple and 300 for each child, hope this helps~
