I got the same letter stating I would get my check BY today, checked the mail, no check. I am sure the checks will come some time next week. I am not sure why some people who got the same letter and date already received their checks.
Add'l Info- I just checked my mail (monday) I just got my rebate check #30 and my roommate #35 got his check. Good luck to everyone. |

For a SSN ending in 26-38, stimulus checks will be mailed BY June 6, not RECEIVED by June 6. It may be mailed earlier than that, but it will take the Postal Service a few days to deliver it after it is mailed, so you may not get it until early in the week of June 9.
Some rebate checks in that SSN range go out earlier in the week of June 2, but there does not appear to be any recognizable pattern to predict which checks get mailed out earlier in the week. |

we got our letter saying we would get ours by the 6th also and no check today!! :( really want to know when it will be here its all being used to move into a bigger place for our family and need it desperatly for a refrigerator and our deposit. The Irs mailed out check on Fridays so if it said the 6 then its in the mail and you should receive it some time next week. |

Hi there,
In the same boat as you. SS# ends in 35. Website/hotline states it is scheduled to be mailed 6/6 but received a letter on Monday that said to expect the check by 6/6. I am a little confused too.
No check yet. Let us know when yours shows up.

if you go to there website it says if you dont get it by the date specified..you have to wait 3 weeks because they cannot help you until then. |

we got ours direct deposit because that's how we got our income tax refund. and we got our letter a week after we got our money, so... our friend just got hers in the mail, i don't know if there is any system, just be patient, remember, the longer it takes to come the longer you have it. ha ha |

I think that your letter probably means that your check will be mailed on or around June 6th. You will now have to wait for the mail, sometimes the mail takes longer for some areas then others. |
