If you go to the IRS website and click on the "where's my refund" link and then on the "where's my rebate" link it will tell you how much you receive for yourself and how much you received for your child. |

They should have came together. You probably have the same issue I did, there is a check box on your tax return that says Child Tax Credit and if you missed that like I did you wont get the $300. You can amend your tax return for the Child Tax Credit (which means you will receive up to $1000 refund in 8-12 weeks) and then when you do your 2008 taxes you will be able to receive the $300 rebate with those refunds. Good Luck! |

That's really weird I'd go to Irs.com and ask in the questions area |

$600 is probably all that you will be getting.
You probably received $300 for yourself and $300 for your son (assuming the he is under 17).
The key words in the law were "UP TO" $600 for Single people. If your income is too low, you will only receive $300. |

They did come together. You probably qualified for $300 for yourself, plus $300 for your son. The amount for the adult is UP TO $600 - you only get $600 if you paid at least that much in tax for the year. If your federal income tax liability for the year was $300 or less, you get $300. |

maybe your sons didnt qualify. |

If your son is your dependent, it will be just one check - sent to you.
If your tax liability was $300 or less, then the $6000 is your whole stimulus check. $300 for you, $300 for your dependent son.
(The payment to a taxpayer is $600, or the amount of your tax liability, whichever is LESS, with a minimum of $300) |

It was 300.00 for you and 300.00 for your son. Thanks! |

check the irs website. did you claim your son as a dependent? that's the only way you would get his. also i believe it only applies to children under 17. |

If your son was 17 or older regardless if you could claim him as a dependent would not qualify him. |
