I have 100,000 USD . if i am dead ,how much money can my son get?

Most likely, all of it - that's way below the federal limit for paying estate tax. In most states there won't be a state inheritance tax either.

arachdog
If you want to leave all to him then 100,000 USD. Assuming you don't live in Pennsylvania then inheritance is not taxable.

Your son does not pay any tax on inheritance.

There is no estate tax if your estate is only $100,000.
For more information read: http://taxipay.blogspot.com/2008/02/tax-on-inheritances.html

bostonianinmo
All of it, after any debts of your estate are paid. There is no Federal Estate Tax on an estate worth only $100,000.

All of it and put it in a Trust account.

wartz
It depends on how much you want him to have.
