i am selfemployed, I have an online business.
I get 1099's for money i receive.

Do i pay taxes on the amont of those 1099's or do i pay taxes on te money i have left ...

Invest in a good stock or Fund,opt for growth and invest for long term at least 5 to 10 years,you will not regret it.

1. Invest in Fixed Deposit - Return 9.5% p.a. without tax deduction. With Tax deduction = 6% p.a.
2. Invest in Nation Saving Certificate (Post Office) - Returns - Near double in 7.5 years
3. Invest in mutual funds - Return - Depends on market - Usual is 10 - 15% year on year looking for 3 - 5 years band.
4. Invest with Insurance company like Kotak Mahindra in a Balanced Fund - Minimum guranteed return of 12% per annum with average high of 25% return on 3 - 5 years plan.
5. Invest in IPOs - Safe Investment - Return on 20% (approx.) in one year. Look for coming ICICI IPO and Reliance Energy IPO.
6. Invest in Bharti Airtel stock -Currently at Rs. 930/ share expected to touch 1000 by month end. or Reliance Telecom. After spectrum license expect a 40% increase in value.
