First of all let me know about your acknowledgment number. It is NSDL number or UTI number.
NSDL Number will have 15 digits. So it is not NSDL number.
If it is UTI number, then you have to give Coupon Number also.

In India, there are 2 authorised centers for applying PAN. One is NSDL and another one is UTI. Where did u apply for ur PAN, when did u apply. Bcoz now a days u can get PAN within a week days. So if it is moer than 10 days there will be something wrong.
Otherwise just go to the center where did u apply and ask them or u can go through online verification. |

contact the service centre where u deposited your pan aplication form. they will give you pancard showing pan no., photo, fater's name and dob. if pancared is not yet ready, they may give u pan no. |
