My husbands SS# last two digits are 05 we used turbo tax with DD. Our rebate check should have been in our account May 2nd. We still have not received it. I actually got someone from the IRS on the phone and they said it was going to be mailed May 9th and the IRS.GOV website said it was going to be mailed May 16th . I do not know who to believe. I asked why I did not have my check DD, they said for some reason if any one used on line tax services and had their fees taken out of their refund they were getting a check in the mail. What ever. Hope this helps |

A lot of people have thought they were getting direct deposit but for whatever reason aren't, so are assuming they'll get it earlier than they really are.
Check your bank statement from when the original refund came - if it says "US Treasury" you should be OK for direct deposit as long as that account is still open, and you didn’t split your refund into multiple accounts. Otherwise, you’ll get a paper check
Another possibility is that your bank is just a little slow in posting it, and you'll see it over the weekend sometime. |

If your tax return showed a balance due and you had the IRS pull the money from your bank account via Direct Debit, you will receive a paper check in the mail. Sorry, but the IRS cannot use the bank information for a Direct Debit to make a Direct Deposit of your rebate. With your SSN, the paper check will be a couple more weeks at least, so just be patient. |

Direct deposit means you provide your banks routing number and your bank account, savings or checking, so I don't understand what you mean when you said you pay your taxes by direct deposit. Nevertheless, if you did not provide IRS with your banks routing number and your bank account, you will be getting a check by mail which will be mailed out to you on Jne 13. |

If you had your filing fees deducted from your refund you will get a paper check. If you didn't have to pay filing fee, wait until Monday it may just not be showing in your account yet. You can check your rebate status at the irs website. |

Did you happen to amend something on your taxes if so you refund will be held until they process your amendment. I think that is a load of crap IRS should of told people that. I amended because IRS had wrong form out when I did my taxes and because of there error I now wait for 21/2 months for my amendment and now I have to wait for Stimulus. |

well i work at a bank, and the mojority of customers receiving the rebates first have dependants and i believe the singles are second priority. This is not a factual comment but just from what i seen with my customers! Most people with dependants got theres on wednesday two days before the anticipated date so i dont think the schedule is correct. |

My last 2 digits are 51 as well. I Filled my taxes in January. I also choose direct deposit. I used stupid H&R Block. I read on the IRS website, if you used Turbo Tax or any other 3rd party tax preparation, you will receive a paper check. Are expected date of printing is June 13th. Or whatever.
I still haven't heard about using H&R Block, anybody else having this problem that used H&R? |

I filed with Jackson Hewitt in mid-January, married filing jointly w/one dependent child. Of course, we have not received our "tax stimulus payment" yet. Luckily, millions of people who are housed with our tax dollars and didn't pay a dime into the system already have theirs! The level of douche-baggery associated with this handout to the already spoiled welfare community should shock no one. All the $ that goes to the non-taxpayers will be immediately spent on G-Unit clothing and brand name soda. My family and I will simply continue to sacrifice because we are middle-class white slaves. |

If you went threw a thrid party to do your taxes and had the fee taken out of your refund you'll receive a check in the mail, even if you had your federal return direct depoisted. The response from the irs was there's no way to make sure the thrid party doesn't charge you twice for your tax return. Its funny how they never tell you these things until its too late. |

Same here - I filed in early Feb electronically using Turbo Tax and received my tax refund on Feb. 21 via direct deposit. Received a post card a few weeks ago saying I would receive the rebate.
Probably some delay/glitch in the system. Or like others are saying, Turbo Tax is considered a "third party" so we'll get paper checks? |
