You can not win any lottery in which you have not participated or purchased a Ticket.this is sheer common sense.
Next any agency or anybody asking some money first to be sent IS A BOGUS COMPANY and IT IS A SCAM.
Do not respond and give any personal details about you or your bank account etc.Be on guard.Delete the mail and report it as SPAM. |

Never Trust these Emails, they will try to cheat very decently in 2001 in London a person lost almost his whole property for such kind of mails, First they will ask you to fill your details, then they will send a fake cheque Scanned to your email in your name and then make you believe that it is for real and then they ask you to make a payment for Shipping and again they will ask you to pay Documentation Charges, Service Charges, Consultation fees blah blah blah... So never trust these people, add them to your blocked email listings in your Settings in Yahoo Mail

Yahoo.com has an open site for this sort of thing, and are urging people to IMMEDIATELY report any such e-mails to it's fraud department or flag as spam. I am recieving 4 to 5 of such mails daily . Unlike Lottery as u reported, I am recieving funny mails like "some billionaire has left his huge sum without assigning it to any body and we have selected U for getting it..." and some Commando in Iran war has assigned his hefty sum for the needy people"... and also some trust (showing their building too) offering loans to the extent of Rs.50,000 Pound Sterling without any interest for the needy people (How they know us?)... Its all are fake and scam. I think they have some how know our mail id and share it between them. So just go thro and enjoy it and even u can store it too to know the various modus operandi they are practising and just ignore it. Never comply or give notice..as world's good old cheating has emerged in to 21st Century way of communication There is nothing more than that..! |
