You have NOT won the lottery.

If you have to pay to claim your winnings, then you HAVEN'T WON.. IT'S A SCAM!!!

Think about it, If you won, why wouldn't they just take the 'administrative fees' or whatever they're calling them, right off the top of your winnings????

Save your money, don't give it to the scam artist.

I hope that helps.

Gone for good...

You have fallen for a scam... UNLUCKY!

You cant win the national lottery unless you bought a ticket

A.Mercer
I really do hope you are kidding.

This is a classic scam. You pay for the courier and for taxes and for fees and maybe even for bribes. The thing is you pay and in the end you get nothing.

Another version is that you actually get a big check and you are instructed to cash it and wire a portion back to cover the fees and stuff. The check will initially go thru the bank, you get the money and send off the part they told you to do, the bank figures out it was a bogus check and you are the one on the hook to repay it. It is even possible to have charges filed against you if the police suspect that you knew it was fake to begin with.

I think you might be getting scammed. Did YOU actually buy a ticket. If not, you been had

Delete the email - it's a scam - and be glad you didn't have the money they were asking for, since if you had sent it to them you'd be out that money. There isn't really a prize, it's just a scam.

drippinhonee
Travel there and get it ... did you even play the lottery?

maggymae
don,t fall for that ,its a big con

Tell 'em to keep it.

I have won that lottery too! Any many others! Was the announcement sent in an email? If so, it's SPAM. If they are asking that you send money anywhere or asking for your bank account information for a 'direct deposit' you are about to have you money stolen and/or your identity. Report them to the police.

sounds like a scam to me, maybe you think someone will email you?

You do not have to pay to collect winnings from the UK national lottery. Simply take your ticket to the outlet you bought it from or if you play on-line the winnings are credited to your account FOC.

No ticket (or didn't play on line)? You haven't won. Someone is trying to scam you! Forget it.

It's a scam, they send these emails out to everyone. In the last 6 months I must've won the lottery 5 times.

You haven't won anything. If you didn't buy a ticket, you are being scammed. It is a common scam to tell someone that they have won a lottery ( british national, yahoo, Nigerian etc) and then demand payment to get the money. No LEGITIMATE lottery demands money to deliver the prize. This is an illegal operation designed to separate you from your hard earned cash or personal information for the purpose of identity theft.

It's BOGUS IDENTITY THEFT.
