Besides cheating on your taxes, you are not getting Social Security credit for your earnings. This will reduce your benefits for as long as you live after you retire.

The IRS in the US has failure to file penalties, failure to pay penalties and interest. This can double the bill. The SSA administration has a policy of not crediting your earnings history if you don't file within 3 years.

Yes, you are. You'd be wise to get the returns filed before the IRS comes after you.

DUH. . . . .join Al Capone on the roll of those who evaded taxes. . . .

You are required to report all income, whether W-2 or under the table, and to file a tax return if income meets minimum levels ($400 if self-employed).

um yeah if you told the irs you havent been making any money for 5 years then you say that you are making all this money. yeah your going to jail

In case you were thinking. NO! There is no statute of limitations on tax fraud. They can get you 40 years from now. You are competing with illegal aliens when working under the table. And if that is one employer he is conducting business illegally as well. Get with IRS and adjust the hidden income and pay your taxes.
